EDGAR DAVIDS has taken a huge leap towards signing for Crystal Palace by taking part in their training session this morning.

DAVIDS, 37, revealed on his DAVIDS" target="_blank">twitter page this morning that he was travelling to the Beckenham training ground to discuss a potential deal.

The former Ajax, AC Milan, and Barcelona star, who has a property in London, is keen on signing a pay as you play deal with the club.

Midfielder Neil Danns expressed his delighted at having such a high profile potential team mate when he wrote on his twitter page: "My team mate in a couple of hours, what a legend he is, I'm gonna study him I'm sure there is still so much I can learn", before adding "Woooooooooooow EDGAR DAVIDS".
